Wiebe Hordijk (1976) is a part-time PhD-student in the IS group. His research question is still rather fuzzy but seems to concentrate on te relations between architectural patterns and quality attributes. Basically, he wants to quantify the effect that architectural decisions have on certain qualities of software systems.
Wiebe was born in 1976 in Kampen, has been a good boy since then, and got his MSc degree in Computer Science from the VU in Amsterdam in 1999. Since then he’s worked for Ordina as a computer programmer, software architect, consultant and, occasionally, teacher. He now works for Ordina from Wednesday till Friday, and does research from Monday till Tuesday (Roel Wieringa thinks from Saturday).
My PhD research program is called QUality Indicators in Design Spaces (QUIDS)
