Georgios Karagiannis: DACS Contact

Georgios
Karagiannis holds a M.Sc. degree (1993) and a Ph.D. degree
(2002) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente, the
Netherlands.
From
1994 to 1998 he was working as a researcher and since 2003 as an
assistant
professor at the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS)
group at
the same university. In between he was working in the Wireless
Multimedia
Research unit of Ericsson Eurolab in Enschede, the Netherlands. His
research
interests are in the fields of fixed, mobile and wireless
(inter)networking,
end-to-end QoS signaling and provisioning, mobility and routing in
vehicular
communication networks, communication networking in Smart Grids, and
performance evaluation. His main research interests in vehicular
communication
networks are related to the design and evaluation of dissemination and
aggregation algorithms and protocols required for the support of
vehicular
applications.
