I am a Ph.D. researcher at  Design and Analysis of Communication Systems group in the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Twente. My research interests span a wide range of topics in the areas of wireless and mobile communications, digital transmission and protocols for wireless networks. Currently I am working with Geert Heijenk in the WALNUT project funded by STW where I focus on designing energy-efficient MAC layer protocol using Transmitted-Reference modulation in the underlying physical layer.

Previously I obtained my Master's degree in Information Technology with Digital Transmission major from Tampere University of Technology, Finland. I worked as a Research Assistant in the EUREKA/CELTIC B21C project (Broadcast for 21st Century) at the Wireless Communications and Positioning research group in Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering with Jukka Rinne and Ali Hazmi for one and half years during my Masters studies.

I completed my bachelor in Computer Science and Information Technology from Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. I was also engaged in teaching both before and after my masters in my alma mater Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh
