On 12 April 2012, Paul Havinga gave a seminar of the Pervasive Systems research topics for a delegation of the municipality of Enschede. In particular they were interested in our projects related to smart cities, in which applications related to public safety and environmental monitoring were highest appreciated.

Intermediate review meeting of the CLAM project took place on 11 April in Brussels. In this meeting, project partners presented results of the recent tests of the designed underwater sensor networks in the diving center and discussed projectís experiment plans with the reviewers.

The first set of real-world underwater experiments of the CLAM project took place on 30 March 2012 at the Dive World diving center in Enschede. During the three days perior to these tests, CLAM partners met and prepared a set of tests, including integration, communication and sensor tests. The sensors used in this set of experiments were CO2 and sound sensors.
