Final event of Co-Design course was successful and fun

Similar to last year, final assessment of the Co-Design course turned to a fun competition between students. 12 teams of 2 students each, had to compete in most correctly determining the length of a traveled path. Using Sun SPOT (Sun Small Programmable Object Technology) nodes and localization, dead reckoning and sensor fusion techniques, students devised algorithms to compute the traveled path precisely. The winner price was a cake, placed exactly at the 50 meter mark, which had to be found.
Co-Design is a Bachelor course given by the Pervasive Systems group.
