On 07 Sep 2011, PS deligation met with a delegation from School of Ocean and Earth Science of Tongji University. The objective of this meeting was to discuss potential of underwater sensor networks for environmental monitoring.

PS meets with a delegation from East China Normal University

On 07 Sep 2011, PS deligation met with a delegation from Computer Science department of East China Normal University (ENCU) and State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research (SKLEC) to discuss possible collaborations. The main collaboration subject between the groups was utilization of underwater sensor networks for environmental monitoring.

Aysegul Tuysuz Erman successfully defended her doctoral thesis

On 01 Sep 2011, Aysegul Tuysuz Erman successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled "Multi-sink mobile wireless sensor networks: dissemination protocols, design and evaluation”. The research has been performed under supervision of Prof. Paul Havinga (promotor) and Dr. Arta Dilo (assistant promotor).
