PERVASIVE SYSTEMS

The Pervasive Systems group at the University of Twente is one of the leading research groups in Europe in the field of wireless sensor networks and ubiquitous computing. We place emphasis on both the theoretical and practical aspects thus ensuring that our research has a direct impact on society.

In the context of the recently started projects, Pervasive Systems group is currently looking for:

1 PhD vacancy (4 years): Cyber Physical Systems

The main objective of this Phd research is to design communication mechanims for in and around body area networks.

What we are asking for:

You have a MSC degree in computer science of electrical engineering. You like working in a team and have intellectual curiosity and knowledge of one or more of the following topics: wireless networks, wireless sensor networks, and distributed embedded systems. Your main responsibility will be to carry out research, but you will be given the opportunity to acquire some teaching experience.
